There are several elements of printing required to produce this piece. This 4-color invitation has an overall gloss aqueous coating and a spot dull varnish over everything but the skyline, allowing the skyline to “pop” on the page. The logo was foil-stamped in metallic blue and a custom die was created to cut the arch shape for the end flap. Whatever you design, we can help produce the end vision.

This 28-page self-cover stitched magazine includes an inserted remittance envelope and uses both 4-color process with spot varnish and 2-color spot within the run. The magazine is printed on 80# gloss white. The varnish coating is not used on the back mailing panel so standard inkjet mail processing can be used.
Creative use of color on this multi pieced invitation including a full color “z-fold” 4 panel invitation printed on our 5-color Komori press using 4 color process plus a metallic silver for a special effect. The outside envelope, reply card and reply envelope used the metallic ink and black on our 2-color Heidelberg press to complete that special, finished look.

Looking for some special effects when on press to produce some pop. Our 5-color Komori did the trick on this annual report produced at Midtown Printing. This 20-page plus cover has strike-thru varnish throughout the piece to create some eye-catching imagery. This special effect is created by the special spot-varnished area holdouts with an overall aqueous high gloss coating. The real effect is seen when the light reflects off areas when the piece is in your hands.
