Midtown Supports a Good Cause

May 7, 2011 — On May 7, Midtown Printing Company helped sponsored the 7th annual Walk Run ‘n Roll in Creve Coeur Park. Established in 2004, the Walk Run ‘n Roll benefits people with cognitive and developmental disabilities in St. Louis, St. Charles and surrounding neighborhoods. This fun-filled event includes activities for people of all abilities and is entertaining for the entire family. Funds raised help partnering agencies provide quality services to people with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, head injuries and other cognitive or developmental disabilities.

Midtown’s sponsorship of the Walk Run ‘n Roll event represents the latest in the local company’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the betterment of the St. Louis community. Some other organizations and events that Midtown has supported recently include Friends of L’Arche Saint Louis, Lifeskills, St. Louis ARC and the Eco Expo at the St. Louis Science Center.

Tom Auffenberg, president and owner of Midtown Printing Company believes these kinds of investments are an integral part of running a local business.  “It is vital to make sure the community in which we live and work thrives in conjunction with our local businesses,” he says. Walk Run ‘n Roll was held at the Tremayne Shelter in Creve Coeur Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.
